Doom 21
Built with the whole mountain in mind, the Doom is a jacket that's poised for adventure, and ready to take down anything you put in front of it. We gave it the same DNA as our amazing Dune anorak, and added an asymmetrical full-length zipper to create a jacket quite unlike any other. Its technical specs are out of this world, and with a selection of large outer pockets, we eliminate the need to unzip. Which means you can layer-up, gear-up, and get out there in the pursuit of adventure. If ditching a front zipper isn't an option, but you need that anorak functionality, the Doom is the way to go.

Insulated/Shell Option
This jacket comes with two insulation choices depending on your riding style. The 'Insulated' option comes with a versatile 60/40g insulation split for an excellent warmth to weight ratio, while our 'Lined Shell' option is insulation-free to keep you light on your feet, and the layering power in your hands.
Tech
SHIELD-TEC 20K Membrane
Montec Shield-Tec membrane offers superior waterproofing and breathability through the use of hydrophilic membrane technology. Actively drawing moisture from the skin, the membrane keeps you dry even during intense sessions.
Durable Water Repellent (DWR)
We equip all our fabrics with the PFC-free ECO Huntsman Zelan R3 DWR treatment. Water beads right off instead of soaking in, meaning improved waterproofing and reduced moisture ingress even in severe weather conditions and deep powder.
Fully Taped Seams
We fully tape our seams to make sure water can't get in. The seams are the weakest point of any garment, so by using a special tape that makes them totally waterproof, you can ride in the deepest powder or the gnarliest storms with confidence.
Sorona Insulation
We use Sorona ECO insulation, which is made partially from renewable, plant-based fibres, and provides warmth-to-weight ratio for true all-day comfort.
Shell Fabric
Our shells are a 2-layer laminated fabric, with a super-tough woven outer, and our own Montec Shield-Tec waterproof membrane underneath. A DWR treatment is then applied, providing great waterproofing, breathability, and resistance to wear in all situations (80,000 Martindale score minimum).

The jacket looks cool and but though it’s a bit weird at first zipping the off-center zip, I got used to it quickly. Overall though, the manufacturing quality is sub par. I have roughly 40 days in this jacket and the left-hand glove gaiter has already blown out (while it was on my hand in my glove, I just pulled my glove off and the stitching fell apart) and the zipper is missing teeth and cannot zip more than 60% from the bottom. The zipper takes too much load if it isn’t fully zipped but since the face comes up so high, only the coldest of people could always ski with it fully zipped. Save yourself the money and buy a different jacket.
