With outstanding technical specifications, and all the features you need for a long day on the snow, this jacket is the whole package. From the park to the powder, this jacket is made to handle it all. And, just to give it a unique style and a lighter feel, we cropped it a little shorter for that modern, form-fitting cut so you can ditch the baggy look and still embrace some sleek Montec style.

Utilising our highest performance materials and design, this collection provides maximum environmental protection, and features designed to ride the biggest lines and the deepest powder. This collection can do it all, no matter the conditions.
Insulated/Shell Option
This jacket comes with two insulation choices depending on your riding style. The 'Insulated' option comes with a versatile 60/40g insulation split for an excellent warmth to weight ratio, while our 'Lined Shell' option is insulation-free to keep you light on your feet, and the layering power in your hands.

Love the colour! Great fit too, with room to move around (other jackets I tried were too restrictive).
Love all the pockets, including the secret one for my phone, which means I don't have to open up the jacket to get at it!
Haven't tried it when it's really cold, so can't comment on how it fares.
Only negative its that the hood isn't detatchable, but apart from that, it's great!

This is my second Montec jacket. I have the Fawk in black and the Moss in the turquoise. I wanted a brighter color jacket. I am 5’3” 138lbs. I was 130lbs when I got the Fawk and the small fit me great, but when I had my snow pants on it was pretty snug in my seat area. After gaining a few pounds I bought the Moss in a Medium. Overall, there’s not much difference in the two sizes, but the medium does fit my seat area better. Compared, the zipper on the older jacket is better than the newer one. I have the insulated model in both jackets but I honestly had to double check the tag because it’s so thin you would never know it’s insulated. 28°F sunny and no wind and warmer I can wear the jacket alone. Otherwise I always wear a base layer jacket underneath it, with additional layering depending on the temp. Overall, I would recommend this jacket for the price because even though I need to layer up, it’s still cheaper than many “shells”. And I’ve got many compliments on the turquoise color!

This past Saturday was my wife’s first day wearing her jacket and pants. During the morning her zipper broke.
