We gave it the same DNA as our amazing Dune anorak, and added an asymmetrical full-length zipper to create a jacket quite unlike any other. Its technical specs are out of this world, and with a selection of large outer pockets, we eliminate the need to unzip. Which means you can layer-up, gear-up, and get out there in the pursuit of adventure. If ditching a front zipper isn't an option, but you need that anorak functionality, the Doom is the way to go.

Its an overall good jacket, however the side zipper is hard to zip up and has teared open from the middle a couple of times. Other than that, it is comfortable, warm and stylish. I would recommend the Montec team to look at using better zippers.

Jacket is great, a clear pocket on the sleeve would be great (for some older resorts that that still use paper lift passes). I did get some goggle fogging from the high collar at times but it's a tradeoff for having a nice high collar in the first place. The hood is also quite small, on really snowy days you want it over your helmet, you can do it with this jacket but it limits your side visibility visibility a little.

I will be honest, I like the look of the jacket and functionality of the pockets, however it is Not a warm jacket. Wish I had of known how thin is my was, I think I would’ve opted to another warmer jacket or brand.
