Biography

Ty Dayberry started telemark skiing at ten on a pair of leather boots and old cable bindings his parents gave him. It wasn’t always smooth, but he was hooked from the start. Growing up around South Lake Tahoe, the Sierra shaped his style and his connection to the mountains. On snow, Ty brings what he calls “hella crunchy steeze,” driven by powder days and a commitment to pushing what’s possible on freeheel skis. For him, skiing is about staying creative, staying grounded, and keeping the feeling alive season after season.
