Getting to the good snow here often means an early start, a rough access road and a long traverse before the first real turn. Men's ski helmets have to be comfortable through all of that and not just on the way down. These focus on a hold that survives a bootpack, vents you can shut against the wind and goggle integration that puts up with the walk in.
MIPS is built into selected helmets and enhances the protection against concussion and trauma. One of them carries a RECCO reflector, built in to help rescuers locate you in the event of an avalanche, which is worth having the moment you step outside the ropes.
Goggle chimneys align the vents with your goggles so steam escapes and your vision stays clear, and that holds even while you are grinding uphill. A goggle strap retainer secures your goggles to the helmet for convenient, hassle free use on the walk in.
The 360 adjustment system locks in a comfortable, secure fit in seconds, which you can manage one handed partway up a bootpack, and the padding stays exactly as it is. Detachable ear pads add flexibility when conditions turn on you.
Adjustable ventilation means fully tunable airflow for comfort across a wider range of temperatures, shut down against an exposed ridge and wide open once you drop into the sun. Finished in black and white.
