I bought this jacket as a backup after my regular ski jacket did not arrive at my vacation destination. I am pleased with the quality, the freedom of movement, and the great wind and cold protection to the neck area that my regular Arc'tyrex jacket does not provide. It is also the first ski jacket I ever owned where strangers complimented me on the design and color (Dark Atlantic). On the downside, while I like an anorak style jacket, it is a bit unwieldy to put on and take off. The zipper for the side is relatively easy to manipulate, but the neck portion is a bit of a chore. Although I haven't had this experience yet, I worry about stopping for lunch and peeling the jacket off in a crowded restaurant. I got this jacket on a nice discount. I like that I can use layers to dress for the weather on a particular day. However, if I had to replace it with another Montec product, I'd probably opt for a zip up jacket instead.

I bought this jacket for my son for Christmas. He had picked it out. He tried it on and loved it. I think he will be buying the bib pants to go with it.
