Yann Rausis
Biography
Yann Rausis grew up in Orsières, Switzerland, where the mountains shaped everyday life. With a father who worked as a mountain guide, he was introduced early to ski touring and time spent in wild terrain, learning respect for the mountains long before competition became part of his path. Now based in Verbier, Yann approaches skiing with exploration and intuition at its core. Qualifying for the Freeride World Tour in 2016 marked a new chapter, but his motivation remains the same: moving through the mountains with purpose and staying connected to the experience itself.
