Biography
Lukas Nagler grew up in the Austrian Alps, where skiing was part of everyday life from the beginning. With a father who worked as a ski instructor, he was on skis by the age of three and later spent his early years ski racing before gradually shifting toward freeride and exploring the mountains. Today, Lukas approaches skiing through both riding and filmmaking. Powder days, touring missions, and time spent in the mountains with friends shape his seasons, while the camera allows him to capture and share those moments with others. Whether chasing fresh snow or working on new film projects, his focus stays the same: exploring the mountains and telling the stories that come with it.
“Being in the mountains, completely focused on the moment, is a feeling you don’t get anywhere else”– Luke Nagler
