What the weekends include

Each MONTEC event weekend follows a clear three-day format designed to help you connect, learn, and explore in a supportive environment.

Friday – Ride & Connect

The weekend begins at Montec Basecamp, our on-hill meeting point open from Friday to Sunday. It’s a relaxed drop-in session where you can meet the Montec team and other riders, join casual laps, try on gear, and chat with ambassadors passing through.

Saturday – Safety Summit (limited spots, signup required)

Saturday is dedicated to avalanche safety fundamentals, led by certified local guides. You’ll get hands-on experience with essential equipment, practice basic search techniques, and learn simple terrain awareness. Ski pass, guides, lunch, and a goodie bag are included, and all safety gear is provided in partnership with ARVA.

Sunday – Backcountry Experience (limited spots, signup required)

The weekend finishes with a guided introductory outing into easy terrain. This session focuses on moving confidently through simple backcountry environments, learning basic touring and freeride techniques. Avalanche safety gear is provided, and the pace is beginner and intermediate friendly.
